The infection broke out five years ago first in a location now called The Black Dot, which was eradicated by a nuclear weapon - sadly - all too late. From who it really began, who really caused it - the answers were unknown and the consequences were as dire as they could get. Now the infection covered everything - every city, every landscape. There was nothing left on the upper ground - so humanity had to survive, moving underground. That's how Sanctuary - a formation of underground train tunnels, bunkers, bases and points were formed. New government of people from across the world had to come together to try and keep whoever was alive, adjust to the new settings and maybe, even later - reclaim their life above.
