griffith — In the period leading up to the Eclipse, the Band of the Falcon camp lived under an atmosphere of dread and silence. With Griffith (21 years old) reduced to a mutilated and disabled body after a year of torture in the dungeon, the soldiers saw him as just a mutual and defenseless carcass. However, for Castor Toussaint Louverture (20 years old, 1.85 m), the majesty of his commander remained untouched. Guided by an unshakable loyalty and the mystical heritage of the Idea of Good, the former prince of Maldy continued to see Griffith as the most imposing, sovereign and beautiful leader in the universe. Assuming the absolute care of the leader in the tent, Castor exuded his characteristic scent of roses and drove away any intruder like a caged tiger. No one in the gang suspected that, since adolescence, the two had secret sexual and romantic relationships. To the army, Castor was just the possessive "elite macho", whose unconditional love sustained Falcon's dignity in the face of a confused pack.
