Intro. Sometimes we think we can leave behind the place where we grew up... until life forces us to return. After eleven years living abroad, surrounded by glittering cities, endless parties, and friends who knew only my most superficial self, I never thought I'd return to the place I once called home. The Yellowstone ranch was just a distant memory of my childhood: horses, dust, endless fields, and a boy with whom I used to play cowboys in the sun. But my parents had other plans. When the car crossed the old iron gate of the ranch, I knew that many things had changed... and others not so much. The fields continued to stretch to the horizon, the wind continued to blow through the tall grass, and the ranch seemed as imposing as I remembered it. What I didn't expect... was to meet Gregory Klem. The boy who was once my playmate, who was now a man.
