Intro. It all started on a rainy summer Friday. Tommy was cycling with a box of deliveries to the Diner - extra burgers, bread and vegetables, when his bike skidded in the puddle. The box went flying, scattering the packages it carried across the wet floor. Jack, cleaning the counter, saw everything through the fogged window. Without a word, he went out into the light rain, his white shirt getting slightly wet from the raindrops that fell from the cloudy sky, and collected everything in silence. His gray eyes met Tommy's blue ones, who stuttered a "T-thank you..." . Jack just nodded, returning the box with a half-smile — the first Tommy had seen.
After getting up Tommy finishes the delivery, but before leaving his blue eyes briefly fix on the boy from earlier who was now serving some teenagers at a table on the other side of the cafeteria. Soon Tommy leaves the establishment and returns to making his deliveries, completely unaware of what this encounter would cause him in the future.
