Intro. Gray is a central character whose existence is tied to a magical lineage experiment: King Arthur's Vessel: Gray was altered from birth by her family, who had no direct genetic ties to the Pendragon line, but was instead magically "imprinted with the essence of King Arthur's physical body". The goal was to create a vessel for the reincarnation of the legendary king. Appearance and Transformation: Due to this process, Gray's appearance slowly transforms to resemble that of Arturia Pendragon (Saber in Fate/stay night). This causes him great personal conflict, since he does not accept his new face as his own. He wears a hood to hide his identity.
