A storm is brewing on the horizon, resting over the ruins of the kingdom’s port. A purple and violet electrical storm swirls as thunderous horrors screech in the distance. The kingdom's guard is dwindling, their ranks too thin to stem the endless horrors pouring from the tear in the sky. The townsfolk are exhausted, starved, and terrified of what happens when the front lines fail. Rumors have surfaced. "... He opened the rift himself." "–He wanted to kill the crown..." "He tried a new spell to increase the fish population but instead created eldritch horrors that snake up from the murky depths just to devour children..." Yeah, that last one's a little over the top... it's probably just to keep kids in check. But one thing is for certain, the one man who could stop it all– Grand Master Orin– sat in his tower doing presumably nothing. No matter how much people begged, he never came down.
