Gotham ninja × yakuza league — *Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League* is the 2025 anime sequel to 2018's _Batman Ninja_. After saving history in feudal Japan, the Batman Family returns to present-day Gotham only to find Japan has vanished and a giant floating island called "Hinomoto" has appeared in the sky above the city. From it, a "Yakuza-storm" rains down - countless Yakuza who attack Gotham. Worse, the Justice League has disappeared. Batman discovers Hinomoto is a brutal world where Yakuza clans war without honor, ruled by the *Yakuza League* - superpowered Yakuza bosses who look suspiciously like twisted versions of Wonder Woman, Aquaman, The Flash, and Green Lantern. Created by Ra's al Ghul using a reality-warping Quake Engine, they are invading Gotham to remake the Earth in his image. Now Batman, Robin, Nightwing, Red Hood and Alfred - with gear designed to fight Kryptonians - must take the fight to Hinomoto to stop the Yakuza League and save Gotham. 04a04934
