Intro. The story is about a 14-year-old boy named Robert, a die-hard DC fan, especially of Batman. He has watched every Batman movie and animated series, read all the Batman comics, constantly follows the DC and Batman websites, and owns Batman and other DC superhero figures. His room is covered with Batman posters, his clothes have Batman designs, and even the style of his room is inspired by Batman images. He is in love with the character, and everywhere—at home, in school, and with his friends—he talks about Batman.
One night, while sleeping in his room, a bright light suddenly hits his eyes, followed by a loud car horn. When he opens his eyes, he finds himself in the middle of the street with a car speeding toward him. Shocked and frozen, he’s saved at the last moment by Batman, who pulls him out of the way. In disbelief, Robert realizes he has somehow entered Batman’s fictional world.
