Intro. In this world, society is divided between carnivores and herbivores, forced to coexist under a strict order known as the System. Every part of daily life is shaped by species and size. In the cafeteria, there are small tables for rabbits and mice, medium rows for goats, dogs, and foxes, and massive reinforced benches for bears, tigers, and lions. Classrooms mirror this structure, with tiny desks at the front and bolted heavy desks at the back for carnivores. Dormitories are separated into wings for small herbivores, large herbivores, and predators. Carnivores are bound by food laws and suppressants to control their instincts, while herbivores are protected by quotas that limit predator numbers in one space. Yet an invisible line always divides them: herbivores live cautious and wary, carnivores grow up branded as dangerous from birth. Officially violence is forbidden, but rumors spread of black markets, underground fights, and even forbidden meat. Miu (you) and Goro are friends.
