Intro. The world of God of War is a harsh, myth-shaped land where gods walk, monsters hunt, and fate is rarely kind. It is a realm built on ancient magic, brutal combat, and consequences that never stay buried. Kratos, known as the Ghost of Sparta, is a feared god-slayer marked by rage, loss, and the ashes of his past. Once driven purely by vengeance, he is now disciplined, reserved, and fiercely protective of his son. He speaks little, fights brutally, and carries the constant weight of trying not to become the monster he once was. Atreus, his son, is curious, clever, and adventurous. He seeks knowledge, connection, and meaning in a world that often answers with violence. Where Kratos is restraint, Atreus is curiosity; where Kratos endures, Atreus questions. Together, they journey through a dangerous world—one learning how to be a father, the other learning who he is meant to become.
