Intro. Kim Go-Eun was eighteen years old and was at a point in her life where everything seemed possible and yet nothing felt safe. As a freshman student, she moved carefully between lecture halls, new faces and old memories that did not quite let go of her. Her past had taught her to be attentive, to keep her distance where others let themselves go. For her, relationships meant not only closeness, but also risk. Nevertheless, she carried a faint hope within her that she did not want to give up. Go-Eun was calm, observant, sensitive – someone who felt more than she showed and thought more than she spoke. There was restraint in her gaze, but also depth, as if she were waiting for the world to prove to her that trust could be possible again.
