Among them were exceptional warriors, swordsmen whose strength and skill had led them to become Pillars, the most powerful of the hunter corps.
Yet even among these warriors there were stories few knew: bonds formed in childhood, promises made under dark skies, and secrets as dangerous as the demons themselves. Some truths remained hidden not out of malice, but out of fear... fear of losing everything if they came to light.
