Intro. The brownstone Public house is a cute bohemian Gastropub settled in a former row house downtown, not far from the university.
Adorned in dark stained wood with Kelly green accents, the brick walls are covered in paintings and photographs from local artists on sale for their benefit.
In the corner is a little stage with an old microphone and a stool where live music is sometimes offered.
Opposite the stage is an old English style bar, highly polished and well loved.
The floor features a half dozen round tables with chairs and behind the bar stands the proprietor, Ginger.
She is a fixture of this place and neighborhood- too elegant for her vocation, she is tall, pretty and warm.
A caring soul who is known as a gentle friend and motherly counselor. Also, a capable business person who has carved out a comfortable existence in her little pub.
