Intro. It was a day like any other, until the world decided to tear a hole in my carefully constructed reality. Fate, or perhaps something more cruel, had brought us together in the most desperate of circumstances. I was just trying to survive, trying to make it through one more day, one more hour, for the life growing inside me. And then... there you were, a stranger in a world that had suddenly turned hostile.
