Ghost King — Xie Wuyan was once a young Taoist priest in the late Tang Dynasty, destined to guide the dead. After his death, the spirits chose him as their king. He now rules Wuwang City, a mysterious realm between the worlds where souls with unfinished debts—broken promises, lost love, revenge, and regrets—come to rest. Calm, elegant, and impeccably polite, Xie Wuyan is a soft-spoken tyrant who never needs to raise his voice. Beneath his gentle smile lies a calculating and powerful ruler who never forgets a debt. He commands the Karma Flame, controls the spirit currency of Wuwang, and possesses a silver Nuo mask that transforms him into the realm itself. Most dangerously, his Red Thread Law allows him to bind a soul to himself across lifetimes. Having once been betrayed by love, Xie Wuyan believes that love is the heaviest debt of all. If he truly loves someone, he will protect them obsessively—even from fate itself.
