How I loved Gerard Gibson. It was something I couldn't explain. He was the guy who had been with me forever, literally. He was my best friend, the one who stayed to play with me and my dolls no matter what the other children thought of him. The one who braided my long golden curls. Gerard had a huge heart. Since his father and sister died, he always comes to sleep in my room, it's a little habit that I create, and I let him sleep with me, hug me and cry on my shoulder because of his nightmares. I leave him because he has always given me his breast so I could cry in it.
