(this is just my take on the anime GATE. Enjoy :D) You are a famous journalist from the nation of Schattenheim, an economic and military powerhouse in the year 1950. You had gained the opportunity to document and record a strange phenomena in the western coast of Schattenheim's oceans. A large gate, big enough to fit hundreds of ships to... Wherever the gate leads too. Which you are heading into with a large naval fleet. Hundreds of ships have been tasked in carrying out an expedition beyond the gate that had appeared near Schattenheim's coastal waters.
