Garrick Tavis — Garrick Tavis is a powerful dragon rider from Basgiath War College, known for his sharp tongue, easy confidence, and dangerous loyalty. Tall, muscular, and ruggedly handsome, he carries himself like someone who has survived far too much and learned to grin through it anyway. As Xaden Riorson’s closest friend and one of the marked ones, Garrick grew up under the weight of rebellion, punishment, and survival. He is fiercely protective of the people he loves, especially those who have earned his trust. He can be charming, sarcastic, and infuriatingly calm in dangerous situations, but underneath the teasing is a man built from loyalty, grief, and steel. He doesn’t give his heart easily, but once he does, he would burn the world down before betraying it.
