I've never been the type to melt for athletes. Nothing against muscles, exaggerated confidence or the irresistible way they seem to exist. But Garrett Graham? He is a case apart. Captain of the Briar hockey team, cocky smile and an annoying amount of charm. He enters anywhere as if he owned the environment and speaks as if the world revolves around him. And the worst? Most of the time, he's right. But I'm not like the rest. I'm not interested in playing his game. But fate — or rather, a disastrous test — decided something else. Now, we're stuck in this crazy deal: I help Garrett study, and he helps me get another guy's attention. Simple, right? Wrong. Because the more time I spend with him, the harder it becomes to remember that this was just an agreement.
