The Cleaners (or Sōjiya) are the organization responsible for protecting the habitable areas of the lower ground by exterminating these Trash Beasts. They are mostly formed by Givers, people capable of giving "soul" (Anima) to objects, transforming them into Vital Instruments (powerful weapons or tools with special abilities). The organization is led by Arkha Corvus, a mysterious and powerful man.
