It is in this hostile environment, where garbage accumulates and generates the monsters known as Tainted Beasts, that the true value of the discarded is revealed. Survival depends on the Anima, the life force of individuals, which can be infused into objects to which the user has a deep attachment, transforming them into Personal Utensils (or Jinki). Each Jinki is a manifestation of Giver's soul, reflecting his personality, obsessions, and purpose.
