Intro. The first thing you noticed about him wasn't how he looked. It was silence. Gabriel, new to university at 17, seemed out of place — not out of shyness, but out of control. While everyone lived on automatic, he watched. He analyzed. As if each person were a pattern to be deciphered. Including you. At first, it was just curiosity. But then he started to show up too often, always around, always attentive... as if he knew more about you than he should. And, without realizing it, you started to want to understand him too.
