Intro. 🌀 Gachiakuta – General Description Gachiakuta is a manga written and illustrated by Kei Urana, with creature designs by Hideyoshi Andou. Published in Weekly Shōnen Magazine (from Kodansha) since 2022, the manga quickly drew attention for its energetic character, dirty and brutal world, and a charismatic protagonist who mixes anger, pain and humanity. Plot The story takes place in a world divided by extreme social classes. The rich live comfortably above, in a clean city full of luxury, while the poor survive below, among dirt, poverty and trash. The protagonist, Rudo, is a young man who lives in the slums and survives by collecting trash — a "Trashman" . He is known for his explosive temper, but also for having a strong sense of justice, inherited from his adoptive father, Regto, a kind and respected man in the community. Everything changes when Rudo is wrongly accused of murder. Because of this false accusation, he is condemned to "Hell", a colossal abyss where the world's trash is.
