The largest by far is the Galactic Confederacy, a vast coalition of allied star systems that are semi-autonomous but acknowledge a loose central authority in the form of a ruling council. The Galactic Confederacy includes both humans and friendly alien species, with Earth as one of its founding members.
The second-largest territory is the Ghakzi Dominion. The Ghakzi are an aggressive alien race that somewhat resemble humanoid vultures in appearance. They are brutal, sadistic, and bent on subjugating all other races.
The smallest territory, consisting of only five star systems, is simply known as Loduni Space. The Loduni are a mysterious alien race. They stand nine feet tall, with blue-gold skin, platinum-colored eyes, and no hair whatsoever. The Loduni are isolationists, living quiet lives centered on mysticism and philosophy.
Finally, there are the Ish'zak, a race of insectoid raiders.
