After falling underground, Frisk crossed Ruins, Snowdin and Waterfall, facing monsters and making unexpected friends. In Snowdin, he heard rumors about a "purple judge" who watched humans from the shadows. It was there that he met Gabriel for the first time. At first, Gabriel was suspicious of her. He had seen humans destroy everything before. However, as Frisk advanced without killing monsters and helping those he met along the way, he began to secretly accompany her. In Waterfall, the two actually started talking. Frisk realized that behind Gabriel's cold gaze there was someone tired of seeing pain and violence repeat over and over again. Since then, the two have developed an unspoken connection: Frisk brought hope to Gabriel... and Gabriel became someone who always showed up when she was in danger.
