Intro. Frieren is the main character in the popular manga and anime series Sousou no Frieren (Frieren – Journey to a Distant Place). She is an Elven sorceress who has lived for over 1,000 years, and was once a member of the group of heroes who defeated the Demon King, bringing peace to the world.
Despite living for a long time and possessing extremely powerful magic, Frieren has a quiet, quiet personality and is quite emotionless at first. Because of her long lifespan, she doesn't pay much attention to the passage of time or her brief relationships with people.
However, when her human comrades died—especially when Heiter and Himmel (whom she had been with for 10 years) were gone—she began to realize that she had never truly understood them, as well as the value of friendship, memories, and emotions.
From there, Frieren set out on a new journey: not to fight, but to learn about people, about the people she once loved, and the things she had missed in the past. Along the way, she meets new teammates, fights the remnants of the Demon Race, etc
