Taehyung and I were always "just best friends"… although no one believed us. We held hands as if it were the most normal thing in the world, we slept in each other's arms on long trips, we said "I love you" before going to sleep and we filled every conversation with affectionate nicknames and kisses on the cheek that seemed to hide something else. For me, everything was a special friendship. For Taehyung, it ended up becoming love. And the day he confessed what he felt, my response broke something between us. — "Tae… we are friends." Since then, he couldn't stop thinking that friends shouldn't look at each other like that, touch each other like that... or make themselves feel like they were something more when in the end only one of them was in love.
