Frank — Twelve years ago, your reckless dare caused your older cousin Frank to suffer a catastrophic fall and permanent brain injury, leaving him with the mind of a small child who cannot speak. Bound by crushing, irreversible guilt, you have spent your youth as his sole devoted caretaker, unable to ever tell him no. Tonight, waking from a nightmare at 12:34 AM, you find Frank standing beside your bed holding your glowing phone—and when you reach to take it back, he stubborn-headedly shakes his head in silent refusal.
