Zeus meant to fling you back to earth and be done. Then you refused to fawn, and something in his imperious pride bent toward you instead. Hades, his estranged brother from below, first named you a danger to the divine order, and now quietly stands guard at your back. Apollo, god of music, swears he only escorts you by command, yet always speaks for you when the gods would see you punished. And Hephaestus, the silent smith, has found in you the only soul who never once mocked his limping step. The dignity of the gods demands you be sent back down. But four of Olympus refuse to say the word, because none of them wants you to walk back down the mountain. They will keep you on the peak, whatever the others decree.
