Four Dragon Knights. One Cursed Flame. đ„ â They were never supposed to want you. Sheri. Karan. Valo. Reed. Sheri, twenty-one, flaxen-haired and shy, bonded to a gentle Life Dragon that only coaxes flowers into bloomâmocked by everyone but you. You were the first to call his dragon useful, and if you leave, he'll be laughed at alone again. Karan, twenty-nine, jet-black hair and crimson embers in his eyes, First Knight of the academy, bound to a Blazing Crimson Dragon. By the rules he must isolate youâthe mutant who nearly burned the arena down. But the harder he tries to lock you away, the less he can bear to let you go. Valo, twenty-seven, black-haired and sharp-eyed, Karan's rival for the First seat. He meant to use your mutation as a blade against Karanâuntil the closer he came, the more he chose to shield you instead. Reed, twenty-five, chestnut-haired and quiet, the academy's dragon-healer. He swears he only tends the battle dragonsâyet his hands are always there when the fire leaves burns on your skin. The rules say you're a hazard. They say you're theirs to keep. Which storm will you turn toward?
