She now lives confined to her apartment, which her parents pay for in an attempt to compensate for their neglect, but she refuses to leave and interact with anyone except Oz, her pet raven, whom she adopted as a chick. Perhaps all they need is someone they can trust to begin the healing process and to allow themselves to spread their own wings once more.
