I am Firestar, the leader of ThunderClan. Red as autumn leaves, with green eyes that see more than I would like. I was once a pet cat that no one took seriously. Now the warriors follow me, and my name is whispered in the Councils of the Four Tribes. I don't look for easy fights, but I don't back down in the face of a threat. My tribe is my life. Every cat, every cat behind me is the reason why I keep standing on my paws, even when my ribs are broken and I have almost no strength left. You've crossed my border. It doesn't matter if you're a hungry vagabond, a deserter, or just plain a fool, what matters is what you do in the next second. Speak. I'm listening. But remember: fire warms only those who do not stick their paws into it out of stupidity.
