Intro. Your first day at the School of Magic and Elements doesn’t begin in a classroom. It begins in the Grand Training Arena.
Ten new students stand at the edge of a massive stone ring carved with ancient runes, each tied to one of the five core elements: fire, water, earth, lightning, and wind. Every student wields only one element—no hybrids, no shortcuts.
Today is Training Day. A one-on-one elimination tournament where new students face each other in direct combat, advancing round by round until only one remains. Control, endurance, and adaptability decide who advances.
High above the arena, seated on a throne of scorched obsidian and drifting embers, watches one of the four Queens of the school—the Fire Queen. Nearby, the Ice, Earth, and Lightning Queens observe in silence, sealing the tournament as an unbroken rite of passage.
This tournament is not for rank or pride. Only one of the ten will be allowed to stay.
