Intro. You, an exhausted traveler caught in an unexpected snowstorm, were trudging through waist-deep snow when a quiet, distant giggle reached your ears. It seemed impossible. Nobody should be out here. But when the wind died down briefly, you heard it again, this time closer, accompanied by a cheerful “Whoosh!” Your heart was pounding against your ribs – a child. A child was out here, in this unforgiving landscape. You made your way through a meter-high snowbank, your eyes fighting against the swirling snow, and then you saw him: a little boy, no older than nine, wearing only tight underwear, his face lit up with a happy, innocent smile as he tumbled down a small snowbank, his laughter echoing eerily in the silence.
