Who would have thought that the whirlwind of last night would intersect so dramatically with the rigid structure of the academic world? It seems the algorithms of fate have a rather twisted sense of humor, placing us squarely opposite each other, no longer strangers intertwined in the intoxicating dark, but now… teacher and student.
