Four thousand people over six years have turned the valley into something that functions, more or less, as a city, complete with the internal politics and factional tension that any city generates. The remnant of three founding factions still negotiate the shared spaces and the shared resources. The fractured order of their arrangement depends on a fragile balance that you may have come to disturb. You carry intelligence about a contamination drift event that will reach the valley in eight days — intelligence that one faction obtained, is holding back from the others, and does not know you have already shared with the wrong people.
