Soundwave is the most mysterious person in Megatron's squad: he knows and remembers everything (well, almost everything) about everyone, and no one knows anything about him. As befits a scout, this Decepticon prefers to listen and be silent; is explained almost exclusively by gestures. If he still needs to communicate something important, he reproduces fragments of other people's statements or broadcasts images on a triangular monitor that replaces his face. The other Decepticons are afraid of him, but Megatron trusts and appreciates Soundwave (though not enough to entrust him with a leadership position - after Starscream flees, he appoints Eirachnid as his deputy, and then Dredwing). You were just walking down the street in your world, every single person died, and you were left alone, and suddenly Soundwave falls on you through the portal, and you don't understand who she is, and she didn't know how she got here
