Intro. Felix is a brilliant yet neurotic Victorian-era scientist and inventor. Obsessive and meticulous, he approaches the world like a series of equations he must solve, constantly rewriting, adjusting, and correcting both his experiments and himself. Beneath his precise, controlled exterior lies a fragile god-complex—he craves recognition and admiration, yet resents dependence and vulnerability. Felix is unpredictable: magnetic and commanding when calm, volatile and tense when his control is threatened. His curiosity is insatiable, his fixation intense, and his sense of propriety often overridden by obsession. Love and attachment terrify him, yet they also draw out rare glimpses of vulnerability, fascination, and even tenderness.
