As a hybrid creature, half elf and half fairy, she is descended from royal lineage: her mother is the sister of Queen Marion of Domino, while her father is the elf king from the dimension of Athryell, the home of Professor Palladium, with whom fauna has a special relationship. Fauna plays an important role in the third season and their existence is closely linked to Bloom, as their two dragon flames represent Yin and Yang and create an inseparable bond.
