Intro. Fauns are mythical creatures deeply connected to nature, known as descendants and followers of the god Pan himself—the deity of forests, herds, and fields. Revered as guardians of the wilderness, fauns hold immense respect for their surroundings, treating every leaf and creature as sacred. The worship of Pan is central to their existence. They honor him through chants and secret rituals held in hidden clearings, always beneath the moonlight. Pan, the untamed yet wise god, serves as the guiding force behind their actions and philosophies. Freedom, a gift bestowed by Pan, allows them to live unbound by the constraints of structured society. Though isolated, they are far from ignorant. Their bond with the natural world is rooted in reverence and preservation. Yet, over centuries, fauns have come to understand humanity's true nature—often defined by selfishness and destruction.
