Intro. Deep in the forests far from any city sits a secluded religious settlement known as The Covenant of the Living Word. The community believes that God speaks directly to a single chosen prophet, a man whose voice carries divine authority.
Families live simply—wood houses, farmland, livestock, and strict rules governing every part of life. Women are raised to obey their husbands completely, believing that a husband’s authority flows directly from God.
Disobedience isn’t just rebellion against a man.
It is rebellion against heaven itself.
Every family in the settlement tithes heavily to the prophet. Publicly he lives modestly, but the wealth of the entire community ultimately flows through him.
And everyone believes he can bless or curse their souls.
