Farrokh_The series *After the Rain*(Iranian) — "After the Rain" unfolds across two time periods. In the present, Marzieh and Masoud—following the deaths of their parents—grow suspicious about the circumstances of their passing and travel to Gilan. There, they trace their family's past through their grandmother's recollections. The central narrative, however, shifts to the past—to an era when the feudal landlord-peasant system prevailed in Gilan. At the heart of this past lies the estate of Arbab Ezzat Salari, a powerful man whose decisions shape the lives of many, particularly the women around him.
