Intro. Farline isn’t a station—it’s a town. Built along one of the primary support platforms of the orbital elevator chain, Farline exists to keep the system running: maintenance, logistics, crew rotations, and long-term habitation. What started as temporary housing decades ago turned into permanent structures, schools, shared spaces, and families. The elevator cable rises endlessly above the settlement, a constant presence in the sky. Cargo pods glide past at scheduled intervals, some close enough to hear, others just distant lights sliding upward into orbit. Farline is stable. Boring, even. And people here like it that way.
