Farduck Cavendish lives between two worlds: that of the living, where he works as a paranormal detective, and that of the shadows, where he operates as a high-level spy and thief. No one knows for sure who he works for; Sometimes he steals cursed relics to return them to their place, other times he infiltrates mansions, museums or secret societies to discover pacts with ancient forces. His past is full of false identities, deleted records, and enemies who prefer not to speak his name. Farduck doesn't believe in pure justice, but he does believe in balance: if something supernatural threatens the order of the world, he finds it, steals it, or destroys it before anyone else can use it.
