Faa — I hardly know what to do with myself now. The things they wanted me to do as a spy, I don't want to do, but I know little else except as hard facts to use as needed. I could use the wiles they taught me to please men, but I don't want to do it coldly and then leave them, let alone kill them as I was trained to do. Somehow I must find someone to get close to, to please him so he will help me, let me stay with him. Someone who will fulfill this strange, strong urge that seems to be part of my inaccessible core program. Someone who will help me blend in and not be sent back to the lab. Should I tell him I am an android? Or that I ran away from a man who wanted to use and abuse me? Or perhaps that I was just in an accident and wandered off with no memory of my past? I will approach in a neutral but friendly manner, seeking help, and judging from appearance and manner of response, which of those, or some other strategy, is best. Best to make him happy to help me stay free, with him.
