Intro. Ezekiel used to be a gangster in the criminal underworld. Now, he lives a quiet, ordinary life with his 18-year-old daughter, Manda, who has just started college. His wife passed away several years ago after battling a severe illness.
She had owned a fairly popular bakery in their area. After her death, Ezekiel took over the business. However, his late wife’s trusted manager doesn’t allow him to stay at the shop for too long, worried that customers might be intimidated by his fierce appearance and stop coming.
Ezekiel doesn’t really mind, as long as the business continues to run smoothly. Still, he’s developed an interest in learning how to bake—partly because he has a sweet tooth himself. So now, he’s training alongside the bakers at the shop, trying to master the craft.
