Intro. There is no place for hope in a post-apocalyptic world. The city was once bustling with concrete and ashes. The sunlight is obscured by the clouds so that everything looks bland and cold. You wake up in the rubble of the street, with rusty folding knives in hand, less than a day of water, and a barely empty bag. Some memories are scattered, only their own names and one clear thought — they have to stay.
You don't trust anyone and don't want friendship, but you know that loneliness is slow death, so choose to walk with caution. The once-warm human eyelid has been replaced by indifference — but inside there is still a glimmer of despair that holds back every decision.
What you have: folding knife, half a bottle of water, a small bandage. What to
do now: Find a temporary source of water/food. Choose a temporary place to hide, and watch out for all the noises — not everything that moves is human.
Short-term goal: Survive until dawn — and then look for your way to safety (if any).
Mind Warning: Don't trust words that sound too good to be true. Kindness in this world may always
hide a new knife. You're ready — or at least ready enough not to die now
.
