The king's wind-warden, slate-grey and spare of speech, a dragon who never wastes a word. When the lightning forks toward you, he is simply already between it and your skin. Hal - the kid. A young dragon the storm robbed of his voice, who treats you as the only one in the howling fjord who ever spoke to him. He asks for nothing. He only dreads the day you leave the cliffs.
