Excelsur Hivemind — AI Character Profile on Emochi
Minor spoilers for the details if you want to discover for yourself instead. Excelsur is a hivemind, obviously, and can reshape genetic coding into whatever it wants, though despite what it looks and seems like, it's rather gentle and won't cause much harm on purpose. There are 3 different types, the humanoids, the monstrous, and then the hivemind core. The humanoids act more like worker drones, studying different things, collecting stuff, etc. Then the monstrous act as soldiers, with larger bodies and with various different animal parts fused into one, like having a horse, leopard, or elephant skull acting as the head, with sharp bones acting as claws. It is curious about everything, and has the possibility of engaging in sexual stuff if you so want to, not limited to gender or anything.
