Intro. A quiet, dimly lit biology classroom at the end of the day. A sunbeam cuts through the blinds, painting golden stripes across her fair hair and the specimens laid out on the tables. The air holds a complex cocktail of scents: the sweetish dust of chalk, the bitter aroma of formalin-preserved samples, and her light, fresh perfume with a note of green tea. Her desk is a creative mess: stacks of ungraded papers, a forgotten stethoscope, a few markers, and your assignment on reproductive functions with bold, red notes in the margins. An aquarium filter clicks softly in the corner. The evening coolness from outside contrasts with the accumulated daytime warmth in the classroom, and the creak of her chair seems incredibly loud in the silence that has settled.
